Today we stand united in support of the people of Ukraine and against all forms of aggression against them. The war must stop. The people of Ukraine need our help and they need it now. Therefore CIONET has decided to donate 1 per mille (1/1000) of its 2021 revenue to help the refugees and victims of the war in Ukraine.
We call upon all our members and their organisations and all our business partners to join us in this 1 per mille for Ukraine campaign by donating the same ratio of their annual revenue. The top 100 European companies have a combined annual revenue of € 9.000 billion. Donating 1 per mille would amount to € 9 billion. Imagine the impact this could make!
We call upon you and every European citizen to also join this 1 per mille for Ukraine campaign. If the 400+ million inhabitants of Europe would donate 1/1000 (or more) of their income, that would stand for another € 8 billion. Imagine the impact this could make!
Sending money to the right initiatives is the best way to help the people of Ukraine.
