As cofounder and CEO of the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design, I am passionate about education and innovation in the context of sustainability.

My craft is service design, scenario design, and design methods, and I've use those skills to create an innovation culture that acts as a conduit between industry, academia and entrepreneurship. Recent projects have explored topics such as private and public transportation, health and wellbeing, sustainable housing, and smart cities.

I'm a frequent speaker at conferences and events, bringing inspiration on how life-centred design can create new pathways for innovation. I was a member of the jury for the IXDA Interaction Awards and part of a board of experts implementing new design strategies at the University of Macau in China. I'm an Honorary Affiliated Professor at Kolding School of Design and on the ASHOKA Venture Board in Denmark.

I'm proud to have over 25 years of teaching experience at various institutions in Denmark (ITU, DTU, Denmark’s Design School, 180 Academy) and internationally. I've lectured at the Politecnico University in Milan, and was a visiting scholar at the Institute of Design, Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago. I was also an associate professor and researcher at the Interaction Design Institute Ivrea, Italy.

I studied at the Polytechnic University of Milan where where I completed both a Ph.D. in Industrial Design and Multimedia Communication (2002), and an MA in Architecture (1996).

E’ membro dell’advisory board dell’osservatorio della Cybersecurity del Politecnico di Milano.

I've had the opportunity to build relationships and learn from everyone I've met. Married with Antonella, father of my 2 little stars, Margherita and Letizia. Economic University, a Master in Telematics and Programming languages, Project and Program Management Institute Certifications is the background study path/preparation.

Always worked in worldwide multicultural and structured environments as technology/digital business partner, like Accenture and IBM, before covering Global CIO After Sales and Supply chain role at CNH Industrial supporting GEC for 12 years, Celli Group group CIO and Chief Digital & Innovation Officer in addition to CEO of Omnireal SrL for digital sustainable solutions in the Real Estate/Facilities Management market at Fervo Group, reporting directly to CEO/Chairman/Owner before becoming Molteni Group CIO currently.

Passionated in technology and processes streamline/implementation/renewal, focused in changing working paradigm from reactive to proactive, from product based to product and services based for all Lines of Business involved. Targets to reinforce Processes and Support Excellence/Brand image and customer loyalty, contributing in EBIDTA target, leveraging on technology enabling capabilities, creating and leading a Digital BU as new company revenue stream, have been major achievements.

I’m fully convinced that every person, job and challenge teach us something - always. I think it's up to each of us to draw the best from each "lesson" - perhaps questioning what was previously considered certain - and then quickly spread the lesson learned to our team through focused, open and inspiring conversation.
