Siamo lieti di presentarvi i Finalisti italiani dell' European CIO of the Year 2017 Awards.

Dopo aver vinto il premio italiano, il CIO+ Italia Award 2017, che ogni anno premia i protagonisti del nuovo scenario economico, che, oltre ad ottenere risultati seguendo le direttrici dell’innovazione, sono cresciuti nel ruolo di eLeader, Carlo Bozzoli, Global CIO di Enel, Giuseppe Faraci, CIO del Centro Medico Santagostino, Vincenzo Pensa, Direttore della Direzione Innovazione e Sviluppo e Direttore del Servizio Sistemi Informativi di Automobile Club d'Italia e Nicola Rivezzi, CIO di MM, sono stati candidati come finalisti per l'Award Europeo.

FINALISTI ECOTY 2017

Carlo Bozzoli è stato nominato Direttore della Funzione Global Information and Communication Technology di Enel nel luglio del 2014. Ha iniziato il suo percorso professionale in Enel nel 1984, presso la Centrale termolettrica di Turbigo e successivamente in Direzione Centrale fino al 1999, dove si è occupato prevalentemente di progetti di business process reengineering. Dal 2000 al 2009 ha ricoperto diversi ruoli nella Direzione ICT, dove ha guidato la prima introduzione della tecnologia SAP in Enel, il progetto Contatore Elettronico, la Pianificazione IT, la funzione Strategie, Performance & Quality Management. Da ultimo, è stato responsabile delle funzioni di Demand and Delivery per le Divisioni Infrastrutture e Reti e Generazione & Energy Management. Prima di assumere l’attuale posizione è stato Responsabile della Funzione Commerciale della Divisione Infrastrutture e Reti Italia per le attività di metering, bilancio energia, rapporti con i trader, connessione clienti e produttori, fatturazione, credito, qualità commerciale e customer care. Nato a Modena nel 1962, laureato in Scienze Economiche, è sposato ed ha un figlio.

Giuseppe Faraci, CIO + Head of clinical Engineering and innovation at Santagostino Medical Centers. After earning a degree in Diagnostic Techniques, he studied Computer Science at the University of Nottingham, Jubilee Campus where he specialized in new technologies to support physicians in the diagnosis process. In 2012 he obtained a Master’s in Management for Healthcare at SDA Bocconi University, after which he started working for the Santagostino Medical Center.
After an internal training course, He is now the CIO (Chief Information Officer), heading the areas of ICT, Innovation and Clinical Engineering.

Vincenzo Pensa, class 1961, is now Chief of IT and Innovation and President of End Life Tires (ELT) from ELV Management Committee. Graduated in Law, earned the graduate certificate in the Innovation and Design Executive Master in 2014 and in Management nel 2017 at the Politecnico of Milano. In ACI for 28 years, he also held positions: Chief of the of Heritage and Supply Department, Chief of Information Systems Management and Chief of Delegate Services.

Nicola Rivezzi, after graduating in Nuclear Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano in 1994, he began working as assistant lecturer and researcher in solid state physics at the Ecole Centrale Paris. Two years later he returned to Italy and joined Foster Wheeler as a Quality Assurance Engineer. He subsequently moved into the field of IT consulting, working for eight years for IBM. During this time he held a number of managerial positions both in Operations and Pre-Sales, acquiring particular expertise in the field of job production and overseeing major accounts such as Italtel, Fincantieri, Grandi Motori Trieste and Fabio Perini. He left the consultancy business to become ICT Manager at Siirtec Nigi, an Italian engineering company operating in the oil and gas industry, and after two years joined Firema, where he was Chief Information Officer. He is currently IT Director at MM spa.
