As a Premium Business Partner, valantic has a seat on the CIONET Germany Advisory Board and participates in shaping the CIONET agenda and programmes.
Matthias Uhrig – Partner and CIONET Advisory Board Member
Matthias Uhrig is Partner, Member of the Executive Committee of valantic and Head of valantic´s Digital Strategy & Analytics Division.
After studying business administration and business informatics, Matthias worked for 2 years as a research assistant at the Chair for Information Management at WHU Koblenz. He then founded INTARGIA Managementberatung GmbH in 1989, which he has been one of the managing directors since. With the sale of INTARGIA to the valantic Group, Matthias became a member of the valantic Executive Board.
In these roles, Matthias has been a consultant, sparring partner and companion of entrepreneurs and top managers in all questions of strategic IT and digitization for more than 35 years. Among other things, he is an advisor to the Hessian state government on IT issues, chairman of the advisory board of the international tea company Ronnefeldt and chairman of the board of trustees of the PJS Foundation.
Karsten Oetschmann - Partner and CSO
Karsten Ötschmann has more than 28 years of experience in various leadership roles within leading consulting companies. Before being apponted to valantic GmbH as Managing Director & Partner in 2021, he was responsible for the divisions SAP Services & Smart Industries.
Previously Karsten lead Technology Consulting in Europe at PwC and prior to that, he was Managing Director with responsibility for business development of Lodestone
Management Consulting (later Infosys Consulting Deutschland).
In his more than 25 years of professional experience Karsten has acted as a "Trusted Advisor" for medium-sized companies and international corporations across industries, supporting their technology-based business transformations.
Holger Röder - Senior Vice President
After graduating industrial engineering, Holger Röder started his career in strategic IT- and Digital- consulting in 1993. Elected to Partner 2006 he lead the global IT-strategy practice of Kearney and the European Technology Strategy practice at PwC Strategy&. Being responsible for the TMT (Telecom, Media, Technology) industry at PwC Strategy&, Holger got deep first hand insights into Tech-Trends, particular around AI, IoT and Cloud-transformation. He served large multinational clients in the chemical, pharmaceutical, intralogistics and automotive industry on their IT- and Digital transformation journey.
Since 2023 Holger is part of the fast growing valantic-Group as a senior vice president to manage growth and develop further business.
Besides this, Holger serves as a strategic advisor for leading cultural institutions, like theaters and opera companies, supporting them on their digital transformation.
