We are delighted to announce Season 3 of the Telenet Business Leadership Circle, powered by CIONET! This prestigious leadership circle provides a platform where a select group of IT executives and thought leaders can meet to inspire one another and share best practices. Our goal is to facilitate the optimisation of your IT function and business performance by capitalising on the endless opportunities presented by digital change.

If you’re interested to join this Circle, then please contact Shelly Deracourt and request an invitation. Creating a Humane, Secure & Innovative World with the Technology of the Future is the theme of this 2025 season, during which we will host the following four thought leadership meetings:

Telenet Business Leadership Circle (11)-1

On 11 March 2025, we will focus on The Impact of AI on ICT - How Data & AI Change Information Technology and Connectivity. This Telenet Business Leadership Circle meeting will explore the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence on our IT and Network departments. Amidst the "perfect storm" of Data, Connectivity, and AI, this exclusive gathering will provide a unique platform for thought-provoking discussions and strategic insights.

Telenet Business Leadership Circle (84)-1-1

On 5 June 2025, our discussions will centre on Cybersecurity in Critical Infrastructure - Navigating Threats and Building Resilience in Banking, Utilities, Airports and Beyond. This meeting will explore the evolving threat landscape, analysing the latest attacks from nation-state actors, ransomware, and supply chain compromises, including recent breaches. We will focus on building cyber resilience through best practices in incident detection, response, and recovery, emphasising robust planning and securing interconnected systems. Supply chain security will be a key theme, addressing vendor risks and implementing effective monitoring frameworks. The roundtable will also highlight the crucial role of employee awareness and training in building a strong security culture.

Telenet Business Leadership Circle (90)-1

On 1 October 2025, our meeting will address Legacy & Lifecycle Management - Bridging the Gap Between Tradition and Transformation. In today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape, organisations face a critical challenge: how to modernise their legacy systems while managing costs, maintaining security, and ensuring operational continuity. Key topics include extending the lifespan of existing systems, mitigating cybersecurity risks, optimising costs, and integrating legacy platforms with modern technologies. We’ll also delve into sustainability, workforce challenges, and future-proofing IT infrastructures to navigate technological obsolescence.

Telenet Business Leadership Circle (86)-3

18 November 2025 brings us together to debate Scalable IT Operating Models - Aligning IT Strategy to Support Business Strategy. As businesses navigate increasing demands for agility and digital transformation, aligning IT strategies with business goals is essential for success. We will explore how to develop and manage IT operating models that effectively support business objectives. The discussion will focus on the key components of an IT operating model, including people, processes, technology, and governance, and the importance of agility in today’s fast-paced environment. We will examine how emerging technologies like AI and automation can enhance operational efficiency and future-proof IT operations. Key challenges, such as integrating legacy systems and ensuring compliance while managing risk, will also be addressed. The session will highlight best practices for structuring IT teams to align with business needs, fostering collaboration across functions, and ensuring continuous improvement.
