From an extraordinary group of finalists in the B2B & B2C category of this year EDLOTY, Marina Bellini (CDO & CIO, BAT) and Nik Puri (Senior VP IT, FedEx Express) proved to be the most accomplished digital leaders. The jury was captured by the level of innovation introduced by Marina and Nik's perseverance towards unleashing the value of two logistic giants. 

Marina Bellini 

Marina is the winner of the B2C category. She impressed the jury with her strength in transforming the business model of the company. Her ability to lead a vision of A Better Tomorrow, pushed her to successfully introduce new reduced risk products.

Technology comes to make complexity and sophistication less overwhelming, and we can still operate this big global company, but in a way that we go forward and fast.

She applies technology and new ways of working to deliver commercial value in an accelerated way. In this regard, by putting in place an e-commerce system and collecting data from it, she identifies consumers’ preferences and reacts to the changes in the market in a timely fashion. Connecting directly with customers translates into an impressive number of 13 million consumers and it's just the beginning of a journey. 

Nik Puri

Nik is the winner of the B2B category. The jury valued his work in the integration of two of the biggest logistic companies in the world and how he and his team modernized their internal systems. His approach to digital transformation and data driven decisions excelled and simplified the services of the company. Especially in these challenging times, he managed to enhance customers' expectations and experience. Nik owes his company’s  success to being nimble:

We are just at the beginning of this new revolution going on, and (...) in today's world and in this world, it's not the big fish that survives. It's the fast fish.
