IT for Business and CIONET, the two international organisations dedicated to supporting digital leaders, officially announce a global partnership today.

IT for Business was established in France in 1966 and taken over by the Cho You Group in 2018. It consists today of a media organisation and a service club committed to IT executives. CIONET was set up by Hendrik Deckers in Belgium in 2005 and has become a community of more than 10,000 digital leaders in Europe, Asia and the Americas.

"The partnership between our organisations feels a natural fit as we are both dedicated to helping IT executives and digital leaders to excel in their job by enabling them to leverage a community of peers who exchange expertise and support each other. At the end of the day, they all have to deal with the same challenges such as the digital transformation of their organisations, the search for environmental sustainability and the quest for mastering the Cloud", confirms Luc Hendrikx CEO of CIONET

"In addition, this partnership allows CIONET to expand its presence in Europe by entering the French market, making France the tenth European country where the company has a local presence", as to Hendrik Deckers, founding father of CIONET

As the collaboration with CIONET will also enable IT For Business to offer its services to other markets within the EU and beyond, each organisation will be able to expand its global reach and bring its services and information to a broader audience. Hence, key decision makers from various EU countries, including Chief Information Officers, will have the opportunity to collaborate and share experiences. The partnership will provide an elevated, innovative experience to the whole IT community. IT for Business and CIONET together will facilitate interactive communication between sponsors and the global community of IT decision-makers through a series of hosted events across Europe. This will provide new opportunities, enabling companies worldwide to form deeper relationships and solve problems more efficiently. The collaboration will create a strengthened European team able to support IT decision-makers worldwide.

"CIONET and IT for Business have always shared common goals and audiences, so this collaboration will benefit both organisations by expanding our footprints for the sake of the global IT community. I am greatly excited to move forward with this partnership and to see how we can better serve the community as a team," said Frédéric Ktorza, CEO IT for Business.
