On August 28th well over 100 Belgian digital leaders gathered to network, enjoy some nice food and drinks, and learn some important lessons from 2 top leaders outside of IT.
The day started with the Program Comittee meeting. Split in 3 breakout groups, members of the Advisory Board and Peer Groups shared their key challenges for the next year, and determined a long-list of topics for the 2019 CIONET Belgium conferences. In a next step, all members of CIONET Belgium will be asked to vote on these subject, in the course of September-October.
In the main session, we were joined by other members of our community as well as the 2 keynote speakers of the event:
- Dominique Leroy, CEO of Proximus, shared her key learnings in revamping the corporate culture to enable new growth opportunities
- Prof. Koen Debackere, General Manager of KULeuven shared his insights on how corporate innovation can take multiple, sometimes confilcing forms
