Migrating legacy systems to the cloud remains one of the toughest balancing acts in IT. Every choice affects stability, cost, and trust at once, and what starts as a modernisation effort quickly turns into a negotiation between ambition and reality. Suddenly budgets rise, dependencies appear late, and timelines tighten as old architectures collide with new expectations. In the end, success depends on sequencing, ownership, and aligning business priorities with infrastructure limits, and not only on technical readiness. Making it work requires more than a plan on paper. Knowing which systems genuinely belong in the cloud, which can wait, and which should stay put shapes the entire roadmap and defines its success. Each refactoring decision sets the level of future flexibility, but it also drives cost and risk. The trade-offs between speed, sustainability, and resilience only become clear once migration begins and pressure builds. Let’s discuss how to plan migrations that stay on track, manage hidden dependencies, and handle downtime with confidence. Let’s also discuss how governance, testing, and vendor coordination keep progress visible and credible. Are you in? A closed conversation for those who turn cloud migration from a disruption into a long-term advantage.

CIOs today are being judged less as technology leaders and more as portfolio managers. Every euro is under scrutiny. Boards and CFOs demand lower run costs, higher efficiency, and clear ROI from every digital initiative. Yet, they also expect CIOs to place bets on disruptive technologies that will keep the enterprise competitive in five years. This constant tension is redefining the role. In this session, we go beyond FinOps and cost reporting to tackle the strategic financial dilemmas CIOs face.

AI coding assistants entered development teams quietly, but their impact grows by the day. What started as autocomplete now shapes architecture decisions, documentation, and testing. And when productivity gains are visible, so are new risks: security blind spots, uneven quality, and the slow erosion of shared standards. Teams move faster, but not always in the same direction. The challenge has become integration rather than adoption. And new questions have risen: how do you blend automation into established practices without losing oversight? When is human review still essential, and what should the rules of collaboration between developer and machine look like? As AI tools learn from proprietary code, where do responsibility and accountability sit? Let’s talk about how to redefine those workflows, balancing creativity with control, and protecting code quality in a hybrid human-AI environment. A closed conversation on where AI accelerates progress, where it introduces new debt, and how development culture must evolve to stay credible.

Zero Trust sounds simple on paper: trust no one, verify everything. But once you start implementing it, the fun begins. Legacy systems, hybrid networks, and human habits don’t read the manual. The idea is solid; the execution, not so much.

Elevates security posture for information technology-operational technology (IT-OT) environment
OVERVIEW
Anthem Biosciences is a Bangalore-based Contract Research and Innovation Service Provider (CRISP), offering a range of services to pioneer global research efforts in the discovery of new compounds. Incorporated in 2006, the company operates out of two locations: A built-up capacity, housing over 500 researchers, and an information technology-operational technology (IT-OT) facilitated manufacturing unit.
CHALLENGES
A leading CRISP enterprise, Anthem Biosciences required selective, high-sensitivity security for its IT-OT environment. While their endpoints were already being protected by Trend Micro’s Endpoint Solution, Anthem Biosciences needed to secure its server and network through a similar robust solution. If unaddressed, security breaches could disrupt the company’s production schedules and undermine its profits.
K. Ravi, Head of information technology and artificial intelligence (AI), notes, “Given the constantly evolving threat landscape, we needed a solution which could provide end-toend protection for our endpoints, network, and servers—without disturbing operations. We were seeking a robust product, which while securing our converged IT-OT manufacturing environment, would require only minimal intervention from our staff.”
Anthem Biosciences had already been using Trend Micro’s Endpoint Solution. “As happy customers, it seemed logical to extend this satisfying relationship,” says Ravi. “Trend Micro provided us with real-time network forensic analysis and its next-gen intrusion prevention system (IPS) perfectly suited our IT-OT converged environment.”
The solution offered unique capabilities, such as shielding vulnerabilities before they can be exploited, superior visibility across the server, network, and endpoints, as well as managed threat detection and response services.
Trend Micro solutions have been featured as leaders in many industry analyst reports. “These industry-recognized accolades testify to happy customers and it definitely reinforced our decision to choose Trend Micro. We knew we were choosing a tried and trusted solution,” says Ravi.
"Our complex IT-OT converged environment needed a sophisticated security solution. Trend Micro’s solution provides elevated security for our network, server, endpoints, and IIoT devices."
K. Ravi - Head of Information Technology and AI, Anthem Biosciences
SOLUTION
Trend Micro’s solutions for endpoints, networks, and servers were successfully deployed across both locations. The solutions boast a host of cutting-edge technologies and features. Trend Micro™ Deep Security™ provides integrated server security and virtual patching, while the Trend Micro™ Deep Discovery™ Inspector (DDI) provides 360-degree visibility by monitoring over 100 network protocols and detecting targeted attacks. By identifying the attacker profile and providing a risk assessment, malware characteristics, origin, variants, and command and control (C&C) internet protocols (IPs) across the network, the solution has provided exceptional insight.
“Deep Discovery with Advanced Threat Protection empowers us to respond instantaneously to targeted attacks, advanced threats, and ransomware,” says Ravi. “The IPS protects our IIoT systems from various vulnerabilities, while the layered security provided by Connected Threat Defense assesses, detects, and remediates attacks.”
Trend Micro has also provided Anthem Biosciences with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solutions. Together, they provide threat hunting and forensic analysis, root cause, and impact analysis for various security incidents. As well, they offer real-time insights and advice into various security incidents, along with remediation and preventive measures.
"Cybersecurity is a prime concern for us, as security breaches disrupt production and cause irrevocable losses. Trend Micro’s next-gen solutions, with EDR and MDR, has helped us achieve end-to-end security."
CEO- Anthem Biosciences
RESULTS
Anthem Bio has been able to minimize escalations due to the enhanced protection available through virtual patching. “We have been able to protect our systems from vulnerabilities even if patches have not been released,” says Ravi.
“Anti-malware with web reputation isolates malware from critical operating systems and security components, further protecting our end-of-support systems and applications. By encrypting the data stored on the endpoints and preventing unwanted and unknown applications from executing, we have been able to ensure additional data privacy and bring smarter protection to the IIoT endpoints,” says Ravi.
WHAT'S NEXT
Anthem Biosciences looks forward to expanding their security services with Trend Micro. The company is currently assessing Trend Micro™ Cloud Email Gateway Services, which protect both hosted and on-premises email solutions.
“We began with endpoint protection and then moved on to protection for our network and servers. Both of these implementations turned out to be successful. We are hopeful that the email solution, which uses an optimum blend of cross-generational threat techniques, will prove to be a perfect fit for our requirements,” says Ravi.
