Data availability keeps growing, but decision-making often feels slower. Every function builds its own dashboards, metrics multiply, and reports begin to contradict each other. What was meant to improve transparency now creates confusion. The problem is not access to data but alignment on interpretation. When information becomes noise, confidence in reporting collapses. People hesitate to act, functions challenge each other’s numbers, and trust in analytics erodes. The challenge lies in restoring clarity: deciding which metrics matter, who owns them, and how reporting connects back to action. Let’s discuss how to simplify information flows, define consistent metrics, and reconnect dashboards with decision-making. How ownership, cadence, and shared understanding bring alignment back. A closed conversation on rebuilding confidence in data, where clarity replaces overload and information once again supports action.

In the middle of the night, 200 miles from the coast, the alarm sounds. The "Man Overboard" cry isn't just about a person in the water; it’s the ultimate test of a crew’s preparation, psychological grit, and split-second communication. For the modern European CIO, the "Man Overboard" moment happens in the data centre, the boardroom, or the headlines. When the system fails, the pressure doesn't just sit on the servers; it sits on you. Join CIONET for an exclusive VIP evening at the coast, a deep dive into the Human and Digital Anatomy of a Crisis. We will explore why some leaders thrive under the crushing weight of a "Black Swan" event while others capsize, and how data serves as the steady keel that keeps the ship upright.

AI started small: a few pilots, some dashboards, a couple of chatbots. But then it spread, quickly. Now every department wants a model, every vendor adds “AI-powered” to their pitch, and every regulator is asking about risk and transparency. Governance suddenly went from a nice idea to a full-time job. Scaling governance is harder than launching AI. Policies look great on slides, but in practice, ownership blurs and enforcement stalls. Central control slows things down, while local freedom invites risk. Everyone agrees AI should be safe and ethical, but no one agrees on who signs off when something goes wrong, all leading to AIs living as permanent PoCs. So how do you scale oversight without creating bureaucracy? How do you distribute responsibility between IT, business, and compliance? And what controls actually hold up when AI keeps changing after deployment? Let’s explore how organisations make governance part of daily operations, not an afterthought. A closed conversation for those trying to keep AI credible, compliant, and under control while it spreads across the enterprise.

Automation was supposed to make infrastructure predictable. Systems would detect anomalies, resolve issues, and learn from every incident. And for a while, it worked: fewer tickets, faster recovery, better uptime. Until something broke silently, and no one noticed. The system had learned how to fix itself, but not how to explain what it did.

Edrans leverages AWS frameworks to boost customers’ security and compliance
Leverages AWS frameworks to boost customers’ security and compliance
OVERVIEW
As one of the first Amazon Web Services (AWS) partners to focus solely on cloud consulting, Edrans is an expert at helping its customers succeed. Working with fast-moving and game-changing technology, Edrans’ customers need to keep up with changing security needs and regulatory requirements. They rely on Edrans’ AWS capabilities to help them meet those requirements. Edrans partners with Trend Micro to ensure its customers meet security and compliance standards as they adopt, optimize, and innovate on AWS.
"Edrans DNA is cloud. Trend Micro’s DNA is all things security. It all meshes together really well in terms of our partnership, and how we can protect customers."
Joe Henderson- General Manager North America, Edrans
From startups to large enterprises, Edrans’ clients are racing to build and deliver better products and services to their customers. “We have to make sure the cloud we are building with our customers is efficient, cost effective, and secure,” says Joe Henderson, general manager, North America, Edrans.
Many of Edrans’ customers are developing so fast in the cloud, sometimes compliance can be an after-thought—until they face specific audits. “We often get brought in to deliver Well-Architected Reviews, which looks across a client’s entire infrastructure—from performance to security, to cost. During these reviews, many security and compliance issues are made visible. Having this baseline review allows customers to sprint toward specific security or compliance goals, while keeping the rest of their cloud efficient,” says Henderson.
Henderson was familiar with the visibility and security benefits of Trend Cloud One™ – Conformity at a previous company. When he introduced it to the leaders and cloud engineers at Edrans, they immediately saw its power and quickly imbedded the tool into their practice. Today, Edrans relies on Trend Micro as its security partner. “Trend Micro is our go-to partner on all things security and compliance,” says Henderson.
SOLUTION
Edrans leverages Conformity to perform cloud assessments for its customers. Conformity makes it easy for Edrans to generate data-rich reports that provide its clients with full visibility into where they are in meeting security and compliance principles, and where there are concerns. It also prioritizes its findings and provides a roadmap for customers to remediate failures. “Conformity provides real-time visibility, allowing us to detect issues and help create a roadmap to quickly remediate. Some developers and DevOps teams don’t have a deep security background, so Conformity helps them adhere to compliance standards and best practices,” says Henderson.

RESULTS
With Conformity, Edrans provides actionable outcomes for customers and ongoing opportunities for them to continue to serve their cloud customers. Engagements can be assessment only to on-going services for a longer term.
“After the assessment, we find that a lot of customers do not have the bandwidth to action our recommendations, so it opens up new opportunities to deliver services,” says Henderson.
WHAT'S NEXT
Henderson’s goal is to continue to scale Edrans. “We’ve built our company on long-term relationships over short-term transactions. While we will continue to focus on delivering results and growing our footprint with our current customers, we have plans to double our new customers in the next 18-24 months,” he says. Henderson expressed that he looks forward to expanding his relationship with Trend Micro by adding, “Edrans DNA is cloud. Trend Micro’s DNA is all things security. It all meshes together really well in terms of our partnership, and how we can protect customers.”
