NTN – Mainframe outsourcing

The mainframe plays a key role within NTN. It supports critical applications such as purchasing, finance and production management for the entire European group. Following a number of retirements, the company lacked specialist mainframe resources, so it decided to call on the expertise of the NRB Group, via its French subsidiary Trigone.

NTN, a company based in Annecy, has chosen to outsource its mainframe to the NRB Group’s French subsidiary Trigone and enjoy the benefits of NRB’s expertise.

NTN is one of the world leaders in the design, development and manufacture of bearings for the automotive, industrial and aerospace sectors. Located in the heart of Annecy, the company puts innovation at the centre of its daily activities.

The collaboration has proved to be a real success. Olivier Bister, IT manager, and Jérôme Masson, head of the application support and maintenance team, say they have found a “trustworthy partner that keeps its promises”.

The NRB Group is a benchmark in the mainframe sector. It has a skills centre and expertise that is recognised both in Belgium and abroad.
