Last Thursday , March 16th, the CIONET Portugal members were invited to applaud the finalists and winners of the CIO of the Year in the amazing Lisbon Secret Spot nearby Lisbon.
Also, our invitees had the opportunity to check the latest models of Porsche in the roads of Monsanto and resulting in a unforgettable driving experience.
Besma Kraiem (International Business Development Expert) and David Alves (CIO@SONAE) were the stunning speakers that focuses about how CIO have a crucial role in the organization . The Managing Partner, Rui Serapicos, presented the finalists and the respective projects before a cocktail and networking moment in the balcony with a a view for the Tejo river.
In the end of the night the moment that everybody was expecting: the winners announcement. Filipe Mendonça, Comercial Corporate Manager of NOS, presented the winner in the Government category: Paulo Nunes (EMEL). João Sousa, Member of the Executive Committe at Portugal Telecom & Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (B2B) presented the winner for SME category: Guilherme Teixeira (CASP-Grupo Casais). Finally, Sofia Mendes, Head of Corporate and Public Sector at Vodafone Portugal, gave the award to João Luís Baptista (SIBS Forward Payment Solutions) in the Corporate category.
