"Conversas com…”, which can be translated to english as “Talking to…” is the most informal and intimate event that takes place every year in the city of Oporto, bringing together the CIONET Community in Portugal.
This event, usually does not have a defined theme and it is aimed at exchanging experiences and ideas with the audience. The majority of the event, the speaker answers questions from the community/audience regarding choices she/he has made in the past, challenges she/he has faced or is facing and so on.
This year – 2016 – due to the success of this event format, it also happened in Lisbon. Last january 21st CIONET Portugal was Talking to Maria João Carioca in a networking event at Fidelidade, in Lisbon.
Maria João Carioca, Director and Member of the Executive Committee at Caixa Geral de Depósitos shared her experience as an executive with responsabilities regarding IT, Operations and Marketing in one of the biggest portuguese companies.
