Guido Albertini, Central Director of Information Systems & Digital Agenda, Comune di Milano who has won the CIONET ITALIA AWARD 2013 in the category CIO Technology Driven.
The project he has led refers to the set-up of the public Wifi network in Milan made up of an extended network of Wifi hotspots with an high transmission capacity to reach the peripheral areas in order to reduce the urban digital divide
