Donatella Paschina is CIO of Ermenegildo Zegna Group, worldwide leader in luxury menswear, producing exclusive fabrics and garments and operating retail. She joined E.Zegna in 2009, to cope with a deep transformation plan of the IT of the multinational Group.
She started her IT career in the airlines industry, after graduating with honors in Economics from the University of Rome, as Operations Researcher and since then Donatella used IT as a lever to support the business and to promote processes and services innovation.
After the long and varied IT experience gained in the airlines, Donatella spent several years as CIO of the main rail transport company in Italy, providing a real boost, through innovative IT systems, in customer orientation and operations improvement.
Speaking business language, having vision for innovation, taking care of execution are the main characteristics of a business-driven CIO like Donatella.
