In today’s economy, companies are looking at working in collaborative and supporting ways using the latest of technologies.  With the consumerization of IT through Bring-Your-Own-Device schemes, the massively growing social media platforms creating innovative and collaborative networks and new ways of working, IT is being called to live up to the task to make it all happen.

Today’s CIO must become a Social CIO or put in different terms a Chief Interaction Officer.  Understanding Social Media and being able to act as a conduit CIOs are continuously tested to bring out the best of them.  As the trusted advisor to the CEO the CIO is well placed to create the framework of the new way of working that will allow companies to attract generation Y and beyond in the ever lasting War for Talent.

The CIO is quickly becoming a multi dimensional corporate athlete that uses story telling to rally his troops and the company around the new way of collaborating and working

The agenda for the day:

This is a must attend event for CIOnet members.
