Join CIONET at the LCL North Sea Regatta for an international networking experience among peers.
VIP NIGHT on the 12th of June:
CIONET is hosting a VIP Night, offering a relaxed and insightful exchange with over 30 CIOs from Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and the UK. The evening is set to include a thought-provoking speaker and fresh sea cuisine, providing a comfortable backdrop for fruitful discussions and networking ahead of the main event.
Piet Opstaele, CEO of The Blue Cluster, will present the story of this unique venture gathering Flanders' trailblazers to launch groundbreaking initiatives in the sustainable blue economy.
Breno Gentil, Regional CIO of Heineken, is our second keynote speaker. He will share the narrative of his ambitious endeavor to partake in the renowned Clipper Race Adventure. This biennial sailing competition challenges amateur crews to circumnavigate the globe aboard 11 specially designed identical yachts. Embarking on this rigorous sailing race in September 2024, Breno will outline the meticulous preparations for this exceptional endeavour.
EXCLUSIVE SAILING EVENT on the 13th of June:
CIONET is pleased to be part of the 7th LCL North Sea Regatta, sailing with at least 5 boats. We're hoping for beautiful weather, perfect wind conditions to blow up the sails and big rolling waves to add excitement to the 3 stages of the race where 30 boats will compete for victory.

Breathe in history while dining!
In 1900, Leopold II had the first royal galleries designed by Henri Maquet. The name 'Venetian Galleries' refers to Venice's classicist architecture.
Come along and take a stroll along the embankment before settling down with us. Slip your feet under the table and enjoy a particularly unique and protected heritage and - what else? - a magnificent sea view.
