Some argue that a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) is a crucial component in the successful adoption and management of cloud technologies within an organisation. During this workshop, a number of leading organisations will present the capabilities of their CCoE. Based on these examples, we will try to identify the most important capabilities that a Cloud Center of Excellence should have to effectively lead and support the organisation's cloud adoption journey, ensuring successful implementation, governance, and optimization of cloud technologies.

An average IT department now supports more than 100 services. In the era of cloud computing, all IT organisations do multi-sourcing in one way or the other. It has become impossible to hire and retain all the technical expertise needed to support all these services internally or to source them from one single partner. The average number of external service providers per company is now 13,5 and this has a profound effect on IT service delivery management. During this workshop, we will talk about how to organise Service Integration and Management beyond the borders of your organisation in such a way that you can provide the service users with complete transparency on the quality, cost and risks associated with the services.

Many organisations have made good progress on their Agile Transformation. However, they still feel that more needs to be done to deliver top quality products and services at high velocity. If this sounds familiar, you are probably embarking on a DevOps implementation journey. But what is the optimal combination of cultural philosophies, practices, and tools that allow you to make sure that your development, operations, quality assurance and security teams are no longer working in silos? During this workshop, we will discuss the required changes in culture and mindset to successfully transition to DevOps and how to bring them about. We will also talk about creating outcome focused, purpose driven teams, and building products your customers love.

During this workshop we will talk about what it takes to truly become a data driven business. We will zoom in on questions such as:

• What does a successful Data governance process and organisation look like?
• How to keep a healthy balance between shielding data for regulatory reasons and allowing users to create the maximum business value?
• How do we connect the people with the technology to extract real value from data?
• When is the data quality good enough?
• How to avoid a data overload?
• How to avoid endless data duplication?

During this workshop, we will talk about how to manage digital identities within your organization and how to make sure they can easily access the right ressources and only those. We'll address questions like:

• How do you streamine onboarding and offboarding for employees, external collaborators and clients?
• How do you define roles in a manageable manner?
• Who is made responsible for which part of the process?
• What about vendor access and Bring your Own Identity?
• The use of multi-factor authentication and context aware security measures?

But, we will also try to examine the current state of this technology and predict its future by talking about things such as:

• Increased emphasis on cloud-based IAM solutions
• The emergence of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in IAM
• Integration of IAM with other security solutions
• Adoption of multi-factor authentication and biometric technologies
• Focus on user experience and ease of use

A cloud-native development platform can empower you to respond to market trends and quickly turn ideas into products and services. But how do organisations do this in practice and what are the key aspects that make an application Cloud-Native? During this workshop, we discuss cloud-native application development technologies and how they can be combined with existing approaches to create a robust, productive IT-system. We will zoom into key capabilities of the platform such as: Being Microservices-based, Container-based, API-based and Dynamically orchestrated.
