December 3 // Zoom Conference
Most public sector organisations are following a cloud-first strategy that can involve multiple cloud vendors. Much of the early rational for Cloud was based on flexibility, cost reduction and improved security This requires tighter governance and appropriate guard rails to deliver these anticipated benefits
Multi-cloud adds a new layer of complexity and needs comprehensive tools that can pin down costs and benefits. Such tools need to be proactive in areas such as cost management, security breaches and dynamic matching of supply and demand. Lack of visibility can often undermine the original case for Cloud.
How can CIOs ensure that they are getting the most from their multi-cloud strategies by adopting the best tools and governance principles?
CloudHealth by VMware is a leader in multi-cloud governance tools and is hosting a virtual event to share experiences. Malcolm Whitehouse, CIO of the University of Manchester will lead the conversation. He has recently led a major evaluation of cloud vendors on behalf of the University. Roger Camrass of CIONET will host the event. As with all CIONET events we believe that this will help empower you in your digital leadership role.
Joining us as our guest speaker we have CIO UK top CIO for 2019 Malcolm Whitehouse previously at DWP, RSA and currently The University of Manchester.
