Gen AI – joint public versus private platform debate

Over the last few months CIOs have been debating which style of Gen AI platform to adopt. Companies such as Microsoft, Google and Meta would prefer their clients to hop on board their public cloud platforms. Others such as Fujitsu see a more expedient route forward through private platform implementations.

In the words of the keynote speaker at our January Community Event on Gen AI, a private solution offers speed, flexibility and a lower investment threshold. It also protects an organisation’s intellectual property. Jenna Franklin, Partner at Stephenson Harwood LLP who was integral to the panel discussion at the January Community Event will be joining again to share their perspectives.

Join Fujitsu on the 24th of July to discuss the merits of public versus private Gen AI platforms. Issues we will address include:

What are the information privacy advantages of a private solution?
How do investment and run costs compared between public and private?
Which approach best meets regulatory and compliance standards?
What would be the implications of private platforms on current infrastructures?

The event will commence at 18.30 at The NED venue. Fujitsu will invite some of its clients to share their experiences with private solutions. Roger Camrass, Director of Research for CIONET International will moderate discussions.
