July 23 // Zoom
Over the last months millions of people in the UK have left their offices to work from home.
Although we can expect a gradual return to the office in 2020, it is unlikely that this will be
full time for many. Instead, IT organisations will need to support distributed working as it
continues to evolve with increasing pressure on ‘bring your own everything’.
How should IT organisations respond to this ‘New Normal’? A critical aspect is to continue to
improve user experience whilst managing costs. In a distributed environment this is more
challenging. Visibility of the entire IT estate has never been more important or difficult to
achieve. Recent experience provides valuable pointers on how to maintain control of the IT
estate.
IVANTI is a leader in end point management and IT asset management and is hosting a
virtual ‘wine’ event to discuss best practices in distributed working. Roger Camrass of
CIONET will host the meeting. As with all CIONET events we believe that this will help
empower you in your digital leadership role.
