The turbulence of the modern world, increasing digitisation, automation and AI, has put ever greater emphasis on public trust around the ethical deployment of technology. Society expects that technology providers will act responsibly in their use of personal and other data from the outset.
So, in a world where consumers make choices based on their perception of how safe an organisations’ technology and security are, how are you using technology to engender that trust and protect your revenues? Technology must provide the necessary safeguards around individual privacy and security.

A pioneer of today’s Internet in the seventies (at MIT) Roger Camrass has been helping organisations across the Globe harness the power of new technologies and methods for over five decades.
As a thought leader, business executive and part time academic, Roger has introduced a succession of innovations including digital networking in the seventies, outsourcing and call centres in the eighties, business reengineering and third generation mobile networks in the nineties, e-commerce in 2000 and more recently cloud and 5G.
Lopa works as the Cybersecurity Competency Leader for the UK and Ireland. Under her tenure, the team has gone from strength to strength and has enjoyed great success over the past two years.
Lopa is also the UK&I Women in technology partner sponsor, supporting women to get involved in STEM and forge exciting careers in digital and cyber.
After beginning her career in the UK Civil Service, Lopa gravitated towards consulting to enjoy greater variety and to make an impact across multiple agencies and departments within the government and public sector. Lopa’s primary sectors of interests are government and infrastructure, energy and resource management.
Since joining the firm, Lopa has worked across the global business, spending five years supporting the US cyber team.
Lucy is a Partner for EY UK. She focuses on large scale, technology-enabled transformation in the consumer products, retail and life sciences sectors. With over 15 years’ experience, Lucy specialises in bridging the gap between technology and business transformation when delivering end-to-end integrated solutions. SAP delivery has been a key focus of Lucy’s career and she has led several major global implementations.
Together, EY and CIONET combine to host a quarterly circle where Digital leaders are able to discuss their experiences of business and technology, joined by guest speakers, to equip one-another to break out of value traps and play a leading role in reinventing business for the digital era in the UK&I.
