Critical challenges are faced by UK businesses in implementing AI, particularly regarding data quality and management. Despite recognising data quality as a key factor for AI success, many are not adequately addressing the need for proper data infrastructure.
With business growth, controlling the cost base, doing more work with less, and empowering employees being top of c-suite agendas, we look at some of the issues that need to be addressed for successful delivery of AI based solutions.
Our roundtable will address pivotal questions to guide your AI initiatives, including:
1. How do you address Data Quality Concerns? A significant portion of UK businesses faces issues with “dark” data, with 56% of IT leaders reporting that over half of their data is unused. However, only 40% are actively improving data quality, and 20% don’t review datasets for quality.
2. How do you overcome Data Storage Challenges? AI is significantly increasing data storage needs. By 2026, global organizations are projected to manage over 300 petabytes (PB) of data, posing substantial storage and management challenges.
3. How do you build an AI Strategy? Many organisations lack a clear strategy for ROI and sustainability. Only 44% prioritize sustainability in AI, and 42% focus on ROI, indicating a gap in long-term planning.
4. How do you mitigate AI Security Risks? 70% of respondents acknowledging that data loss could be catastrophic, security concerns are top-of-mind. Additionally, 65% worry that AI could provide hackers with more advanced tools.
