About

The AB meeting is structured around two parts:

  • Getting your advice on CIONETs programme and performance
    • Your advice to help CIONET deal with its challenges, and realise its ambitions (formats, timing, attendance, engagement)
    • Your input on the key events still planned for this year (topics, speakers, angles)

  • A focused peer discussion on how CIOs can manage “information overload” and improve decision speed
      • A table-based workshop (groups of 4) on how CIOs reduce information overload, decide what to keep vs stop, and maintain focus without losing control.
      • We will focus on a pressure many CIOs share: information overload. Dashboards, escalations, risk reports, vendor updates, governance forums, and constant “new priorities” can create fatigue, slow decisions, and push organisations into reactive mode.
      • So we will be focusing on one leadership question: how do CIOs cut through the noise and keep attention on what truly matters?

Programme

What we want to leave with

  • Clear guidance from our Advisory Board on how CIONET should keep improving

  • A valuable outcome based on peer to peer exchange that can help each CIO personally on how to manage information overload
