A range of online & offline services
CIONET develops, manages and moderates an integrated array of both offline and online tools and services designed to provide real support for IT executives. From the online CIONET platform itself to offline events, publications and executive education programmes, everything we do, everything we share, is aimed at feeding the insatiable desire of today’s CIO community to become all it can be.
Platforms
At the heart of what we do lies the CIONET online network: a private “Facebook for CIOs” that links IT executives across sectors and across national borders. Today this online network has grown to become the largest active online community of IT leaders in Europe. It is a state-of-the-art collaboration platform where members can meet, exchange views and opinions and access unique content.
Events
CIONET events are unique occasions. From national seminars and workshops to the international CIO CITY conferences, they are a chance for CIOs to take the stage themselves and present and debate the IT management issues that matter. They also present ideal opportunities to put faces to names and names to faces. These content-rich networking events allow members to develop contacts into meaningful relations. Because it’s not just who you know, but how you know them.
Awards
In partnership with MIT, CIONET hosts the European CIO of the Year Awards at its annual two-day event, CIO CITY. Recognising the achievements of the greatest IT visionaries of the moment, the CIO of the Year Award sets the benchmark for innovative and entrepreneurial thinking – and action – at the pinnacle of European business.
Research
The CIONET community maintains close ties with both the corporate and academic world, helping to foster the kind of creative thinking that fuels innovation in IT. Every year, CIONET actively supports a number of research projects and, e.g., trends surveys on a range of topics developed in consultation with our advisory boards.
Education
In partnership with some of Europe’s most renowned business and management schools, CIONET will offer a range of intensive workshops, specialist master classes and other executive education programmes designed specifically for high-ranking IT managers.
Publications
Published twice a year, CIONET Magazine provides a valuable insight into the network’s activities and the people and issues behind them. Available in print and in a variety of digital formats, the Magazine pools together the most relevant and stimulating content from CIONET’s offline events and online platform.
Partnership
Looking for ways to forge valuable links with the leading global IT management community? Every year, CIONET selects a number of business, academic and media partners to become co-creators in the cause to broaden the minds of our members. CIONET’s partners are themselves high-ranking executives. They share the common goal of breeding successful CIOs and IT directors by providing – in many cases exclusive – access to value added research, networks, products and tools. CIONET partnerships are symbiotic relationships, adding value for our members while preserving the independence and impartiality of the community.
